About David Anson

I have great pride in calling Raleigh my home and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I grew up in Garner and have now moved to Clayton where I live with my wife and two sons. I have been around construction most of my life with my first job being with my Dad in his construction business and I have always loved it. I grew up learning how to use a shovel and working hard manual labor which has given me a great since of humbleness. Once I finished high school I got a great job as a manager for Progress Energy working with resource management. I managed over 30 men in day to day operations and gave daily reports on resource stats/progress which has given me a lot of the great communication and leadership skills I have today. In 2009 I unfortunately got laid off as most people did and I found a job working as a sales coordinator and project manager at a plumbing company. I quickly learned that I was a natural at sales and I also helped clients with estimates and guiding them through the process of plumbing installation for new construction and existing homes. I worked as a project manager for 2 years until the opportunity came for me to get my real estate license and ever since then I haven’t turned back. I now use all of my skills from the construction industry to coach and guide my clients smoothly from start to finish on every transaction while also maintaining great communication skills and providing expert market analysis. While learning the best practices of real estate throughout my career, i now train other agents on real estate education, best practices, and new technology which i use daily with my clients. In 2017 i accepted the position as the director of the education committee of the Johnston County Association of Realtors in which i trained agents across Johnston county and surrounding areas on how to give their clients the best possible guidance and expertise. Now going into 2018 i've accepted the Executive Directors position as Treasurer of JCAR and look forward to applying my financial skills to better the association and community. It is an honor and a passion of mine to assist my clients with the biggest financial decision that most people make, while also creating raving fans and making life long friendships.
